It doesnt really need IE its just a windows media player plugin, they work fine in Firefox, MSN just wants you to use a Microsoft browser. Use the user agent switcher extension for FF and report yourself as Internet Explorer and It'll play fine

oh and this video is rather old. saw it on stumblebar ages ago.

EDIT: provided you have wmp10/11 installed, it should work fine in FF. forgot that lol.

User Agent Switcher is fun for a variety of reasons

. You can report yourself as a googlebot to browse certain websites forums/other sign up content without actually signing up XD. (some sites are catching on and blocking googlebots not from known google IP addys tho) But generally I just use it for sites that claim to require IE. (Some really do tho, in which case I just bite the bullet and open IE)
