Linguistic Institute Research Center in Kyoto. Job is not clear, but they need a native speaker with experience in linguistics and database programming.
Sounds interesting and different from my past work experience, yet fitting for my skills. Work hours are great and pay is awesome too (26$/hr).
1 year contract is good enough for a resume and not too long if I start hating the job.

Location is good too, being in Kyoto its easy for me to live in the country side and get to work by train. They pay for transport too.

I think your test server might be tired. Its 4 am.

Holy shit! Sounds like a pretty damn good deal to me. Then again, anything over minimum wage sounds good to me. I should really go back to school. I don't drink anymore so that temptation is gone.

You can get 10$/hour for distributing flyers here lol. When working in a restaurant pays 7-8/hr.

In japan its easy for a foreigner to make 20+/hr though. I got offered 40/hr part time for teaching. Will go with that if the this one doesn't go through.

I'm tired as hell because I've gone back to work. :/ Even though I said I wasn't working, I got a call from the doctor telling me back to work. So now I'm out busting my ass.

Can't wait for the paycheck.
