you're.. and...no shit! that's why they call it an auction. That being said, things don't usually go higher than retail, for the very fact that most bidders stop when they hit retail price. All the bidders except yourself of course, who would probably keep on bidding.

My favorite part is when people catch on to it, or just suspect it and the seller's fake account ends up winning the auction.

Sometimes its obvious, like only one or two feedbacks and most of them small ticket items or digital delivery and account date creation not too long before the item is put up for sale. They do yoink those accounts when they catch them though.

You don't lower your price by 50 dollars if somethings used.. people aren't gonna trust a used product as much as brand new, and knocking 50 dollars off ain't gonna ease their concerns. I'm not trying to be mean anymore, just giving you honest advice now. You're gonna have to sacrifice some from your buying price because people will not pay that much for a used product.

I see what you're saying, but I really tried basing on my price on what others were pricing there laptops at. Mine even comes with windows xp, which is priced at 130 dollars or so. The laptop itself is in great condition, and other people on that forum told me what they would possibly pay for it here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=265426

oh and advice for your desktop that you're building, go BFG tech instead of XFX for the vid card. I'd also go a different brand on the motherboard, my personal preference is Asus.

and as ive told you lots of times, 4 Gigs will not hold you for very long.
