Edit: I just noticed that the top yellow bar is transparent in all of them. I think if it weren't transparent but kept the same color, I'd like it even more.

I agree with the above posters. SetriC is good!

The middle one is best IMO, but the dark grey text is hard to read, atleast for me, and i keep my screen fairly bright.

Here's my last one in a better verion btw:

I liked Ilutzio's original work...too bad you can't use the UO logo

. Very much enjoy the text "logo" on those splashes.

The middle banner in SetriC's new set is also good. Same complaint Ilutzio had, though, I can't really read the text.

from a professional stand point (as graphic design is my job!) setrics designs are the best, there are a few things I'd change if I were selling it. most likely I'd do it in illustrator is it is infinitely scalable. I like the 3rd one the best design wise.

Constructive critisism for S.i.r R.y.a.n:
On the left side, there is to much text in different alignments, cneter, right, left, top.

The small white "person icons" in bottom right, why are they there?

I have never seen a splash in that format, i meen, long width, short height.

The top white text (to the far left) is to far left.

It's hard to tell what the programs name is, if you read normally (left to iright, and down) it seems like the program name is: Gump development kit RunUO GDK.

Nice background.

Nice color scheme.

I like the white romb boxes, in the bottom left.

Your background is nice!

The font is not very appealing.

The spaces between the letters in the font is almost disturbingly wide.

Try to bottom-right align the text and remove the stroke on the text.
(If the text ain't showing very well when you do that, try adding a box behind the text, white or faded grey, or whatever.)

Maybe another font for the GDK and Gump Development Kit would make it look better, also, it would work better if it was taller and thiner, it would look more like a splash screen rather than a siggie.
