I was wondering is anyone downloaded and installed the Service Pack 1 release yet.
First impressions?
Is it worth the download or are there issues still to be worked out?

I have to be honest I was totally anti vista but just bought a new laptop with it and havent had any issues at all.

Well between work and my laptop being on the fritz, I just haven't found too much free time. Suppose now that I have the laptop back, I'll be back in IRC.

At home I dont give a shit, XP only, bitches! At work I guess I'm gonna wait for the masses to find the bugs for, for Microsoft to get patches out for that and THEN I'm gonna try out SP1...

As I mentioned in another thread SP1 does fix lots of stuff but only to severely break other things in the process. You end up swapping old problems for new ones.

I'm downloading now... hopefully all goes well. The only thing that has really been bugging me at the moment is it crashes UO a lot or my screen will flicker constantly... Knight Online and World of Warcraft run OK tho. (Vista Home Premium)

install took a while, but no issues thus far. Actually my compy seems to boot faster and load programs faster now :-\

So I'm using SP1 now. Programs and Boot Up does seem faster. I haven't had time to see if it fixed my problems with UO.

With Vista has anyone else have problems with UO? Just curious...

So... UO doesn't flicker anymore... but the graphics lag when I try to run. Any possible fix? I want to use PlayUO, but it only works on Hybrid?

I have had no problem at all my 3 computers that run vista installed SP1 with no issues and they always work perfectly with RunUO and UO Seems Faster too.
