from all I've read about the end of the world ,they say cockroaches will still exist, and rats that will feed off of the cockroaches. while cockroaches are not on my favorites list, from the sounds of it ill still be here O.o

I don't believe in the end of the world unless the sun explodes, which will happen eventually, or an asteroid hits us, which will also happen eventually.

I do however believe in #8, she's an extremely dangerous terrorist.

And a friend of mine is currently tripping on #3, but we already have these kinds of machines - this one is just larger.

An asteroid might never hit the planet. Even if one does, the human race would most likely survive.

I was imagining yesterday what it would be like if the world implodes. Would it be instant or would it be slow? I'm not sure, but it would really suck.

This thread is full of confusion, mostly towards ones own posts. I think the world imploding would be a great way for us all to die. Then if we all go to the same place we can beat on the scientists who did it

its pretty easy for people to pull numbers out their ass and then others think zomjesus he is like a scientist so we MUST believe him, and not to mention, its very easy to take something from the bible or w.e out of context to fit what we want it to, like that whole fire from the sky bs, from either the da vincci thing or whichever it was and people saying zomjesus this fit WTC incident, id think it would more fit with something from space busting into the atmosphere and taking out a city block or some shit.

its all bullshit to me, sure the world will end someday, and people say itll be out technology to end it, if i recall the whole atlantian civilization, who was depicted as being of Mayan or around the time of the Mayan empire, who pretty much did the same thing as us, with the cloning and all that, probably even had cars like in the jetsons, there was 1 other super civilization mentioned along side of atlantis, but i cant recall the name, the whole crystal skulls thing holding the knowledge and power of the ancients and what not.

but seriously, did the world end? i bet they even had a particle thinga majiger but really, black holes are depicted as a vast of black nothingness, which leads to somewhere unknown, so how would we die if the world was turned into one, ofcourse other than the probable lack of oxygen, but thats easily fixed, have them make suits that can convert our own breath back into oxygen, making us not need oxygen tanks :O problem solved ofcourse, most likely everything in our solar system will be sucked in, so then we could totally inhabit mars in the next location we fall into

(this is not serious dont think im being serious, i just find the end of the world bullshit to be really retarded, when it ends and if its in this lifetime, then hell, ill go out drinking a beer and getting me a Blow job then ill die with a smile)

I heard some crazy theory that the particle accelerator would be able to bend mass through time(or something along those lines), and actually change it position in time(be it linear or circular, good debate there).

actually, the end of the world was not only predicted in the myan calander, it was also predicted by Merlin, and back in the earlist of chinese empires. so, its a little more than just one culture, not to mention the bible, had predicted many things also, it predicted the end of the world to be brought upon by a group that would awaken a great eagle. hm, al quida(sp) and the bald eagle is United States symbol. In Astronomy there is suppose to be a comet coming close to the earth, and the think our gravitation pull because of our atmosphere would draw it in.

What im saying is there is all these predicition that match up with past events that could cause total chaos in the world, any way you listed is pratical way of the world ending.

and about the black hole, they have it in a controled society and is not likely anything will happen from it, anyway most of it is just speculation from media, trying to frighten people like they normal do.

since we wasnt alive back in whichever day, its hard to say this but, i gots to say it whos to say, it wasnt 1 random nut job, that got hopped up on opium, and was like worlds totally going to end, and another opium junkie was like dude no way when, ummm 2012 sounds good, oh snap dude lets tell alot of people and get them to believe it so we can watch people close to 2012 freak out while we laugh and stuff.

obviously they wasnt going to talk that way back in older times, but thats just a thoery, the thing about bibles and what not is, how true do we think they are? sure people who believe in the religion, and follow that religions bible will, but those who dont, wont believe it like me, i cant believe anything in a bible, cause i dont believe that there happenes to be a "god"...

but, when 2012 rolls around, and people start flipping out like that dumb y2k shit, ima have to sit on my roof with a high powered sniper and take out those dumbasses, if indeed the worlds going to end might aswell make my last days more livable than listening to everyone screaming and bitching....
