Krrios used to have administrative access on the OSI shards way back when before he was, as I think the story goes, quit. He disagreed with some people and left to make his own client. Why you would create a client or if you already started it, finish it after being fired is beyond me. But, and again as the story goes, RunUO was created for client testing and bloomed into an emulator because the emulators already developed to a point of hosting shards made by lesser beings was inferior to Krrios's packet tester. Anyway, RunUO holds the claim they didn't compile the old server that came with a UO install CD, and they also claim they didn't decompile the other emulators. If this is true outside of encryption removal then all knowledge of the inner workings would have come form Krrios's experience with EA, which I'm sure is illegal in some way, which may be why he does not post often.

If I can dream of code or programming, surely an android we have to talk binary to so he understands us does too.

Who started the rumor the RunUO krrios was the admin krrios then?

Edit - Why did the RunUO Krrios take the Krrios name to begin with too?

Ugh wrong person.

Zippy, not Krrios, worked on the Second Age expansion. >.>

I'm still sticking to the dream point though. Highly advanced robots could consider defraging to be a form of dreaming.

You are both wrong..... The packet sniffing is how it came about, but the biggest thing was when OSI released the demo client(single player game, that came with T2A). This app played a big role in the understanding and creation of the UO emulator world.... AFAIK(and i would think I would) no one worked for OSI/EA....ever....

There's a Zippy (administrator?) seen in old OSI screenshots but it's been known for a long time that it is not the Zippy from RunUO.

Um why would i decompile connect uo?, razor connects to uo and it isn't ugly and crash prone.
And the last line was a WIN so hard that BRIX came out of my backdoor

No, because you're in Finland. However if you were to be in the same location as me and I'd be close when I'd see you fall from your chair, I would most likely catch you in your fall.

Decompiling/Dissasembly of applications is usually ilegal. read the license about reverse engineering in your chosen program before you go ahead with a decision.

There is one dissasembler out there that will restore decompiled .exe's into original code, but as stated earlier in the thread, the member/class/type/method names etc will not be remembered.

Google these apps:

Rec22
ArtMoney
IDA Pro

Default Reverse Engineering FTW

Since there have been little assisting posts here I decide to step in with a little direction to the best decompiler for reverse engineering and debugging.

If you use this software on an application other than your own, you are either an exploiter or some douche.. Please only use these tools to help secure your own code better.

IDA Pro Disassembler - multi-processor, windows hosted disassembler and debugger
