Too many people believe this. I've heard people in the local wal-mart and other shops say basically the same thing.

A great gay and lesbian community in California had an “in-your-face, God” decision handed down from a liberal court and the mayor of San Francisco announced to the world an open field day for same-sex marriages, proclaiming, “I don’t see any fire coming down, so I guess we’re OK.” And then over 1,000 lighting strikes did come down and you can see and smell California burning whenever you step outside.

Well its all catholic here. Catholics are usually less vocal about shit, they hate you silently if you dont agree with them and arent big on the whole converting thing. However, Almost all the politicians, even the protestant ones in north lousiana do whatever the catholics say, so they have a pretty big influence in government.

Has anyone noticed a slight flaw in that guys statement? As in Washington DC has been untouched? Think of all the scandals, sin, greed, powerplays, sex and who knows what else that goes on there. DC has probably surpassed California, Sodom & Gomorrah & all the Hollywood orgys combined. Seems to me that by now, DC should be a crater and a fading memory.
