Iris 0.5 Released! - RunUO

New features include 3d character models, new items, greater stability and quite a few other features, as well as a config editor for easy config modification (currently for windows users only).

It is still a fair way from being fully playable, however we are quite pleased with the progress.

Before posting any bugs, remember that this new client will only display 3d character models if you have set the UO path to that of your UO third-dawn directory.

Note that it is still possible to play the new version of Ultima Iris with a version of UO other than third dawn, however you will not see any character models, only statics and items.

Known bugs: If using custom *.mul files, you may see a very dark (almost black) screen upon starting up Iris. If this is the case, please revert to the OSI *.mul files. This may also occur if you are using a version previous to third dawn, such as t2a. As AOS is now freely downloadable this should not be a problem.

Minimum specs:
Geforce 2 or better
+ 256mb of ram
+ 800mhz processor

on the site it said AOS wont work with iris 5

I tried it none the less and the models wont show up

that looks very, very cool... only wish I had LBR instead of AOS.
