Default Partial Gump Hueing

I have been making gumps and everything is been great except for 1 thing. How do i make a gump partially hueable. Like the paperdoll, the underwear (or fig, whichever you prefer) doesnt get colored when you change your body hue.

The bardiche is only partially hued (only its blade).

Im not 100% sure, but the part of the art that is greyscale in the .bmp is the hueable part...which would explain why only the bardiches blade is hueable.

You could edit the body figure so they're no underwear...or make the underwear greyscale, in Psp7 just use the retouch tool > saturation down. Not sure how you'd access this in other art programs...but you should be able to find the saturation down somewhere.

I made a gump of a robe with gold, and the rest was gray scale. And it was FULLY hued in-game. I want to make it partially hued.

I dunno why the gold is hueing, sorry. Ive just made a few clothing pieces, nothing with unhueable parts yet.

Question- You using MulBuilder for this?

Hmm...only tool Ive used is MulBuilder, and it has a partial hue button you have to select for partially hued items o.O; but MulBuilder stopped working on my computer, so I cant confirm if thats something that would help in this situation

There is a flag in tiledata.mul that has to be set in order to give an item a partial hue.

And if it is selected, only the grayscale spots will be hued?

I tried using MulBuilder to edit one of the TileData entries. So I added it to the Normal section exactly how I wanted it. Then i exported them ALL. But when i loaded them back up, neither the verdata nor the tiledata had the changes.

What did I do wrong?
