Pandora's Box (can't find a working website) - RunUO

Hi I have a quick question about Pandora's Box, for the powerusers of this software.

My shard began using a custom map a little while ago, and I have had a pain in the ass time moving around now. I noticed in the "Travel" tab in Pandora's and tinkered around in there, and have to say, it has the potential to become my favourite part of the box.

The only problem is that I want to make our new, custom map, show up in the little box, instead of the original Britannia map.

Big on RP, PvP is cool, sweet custom map with dungeons and spawned, skill ticket to start, little starting cash, high stat cap, growing player base.

Pandora's Box will read the map0.mul file in your 2d UO install directory, possibly your 3d one.

Under the options tab, you have a path on the right to enter in the correct UO install directory folder that you want Pandora's box to read.

Your custom map needs to be that map in there.

Not sure if that helps or not. 8)

thank you, that does help quite a bit. i guess my only other question is, will that affect anything when i play osi shards?

would a solution be to keep a original copy in a temporary folder on my harddrive, and swap the two around, depending on what shard i wanted to play on?

Yes, your solution is the plan to go with.

Otherwise you log in and you see desert where others see down town Britainnia. :shock:

That's an older version which is not fully compatible with Beta 36. Ryan has kindly offered to host my site on the runuo.com server and I'll be moving very soon. This should finally solve the hosting issue.

Yeah. Even without some of the functionality it is still quite the potent little program.
