Default Multi Program Concept

I would like to hear your ideas on this. I am not that advanced with any language to produce a program to do this, but maybe someone could, and possibly I could learn from it.

A program where if you make a multi (like a boat) at one angle (either down right, down left, up right, or up left), it would then create the other 3 angles automatically.

To do this is easy based on the middle object (using offset, like house regions do). But its knowing which items to use where. This would require an angle definition file, stating every peice which is supported, its angle and its concurrent peice and that angle. That wouldnt be as terribly difficult, as it would be long. The person making the multis could input the different peices requires if they did not support it. The reference object file wouldn't be as literal as I make it sound, but it will tell the program how it needs to manipulate the peice (turn it in a sense) compared to what angle was used to begin with and what peice was used.

Then its a matter of reference peices based on what angle was used to begin with.

Mr_Fixit already made a multi freezer script, I will add onto that with my idea and repost it. Thanks Fixit for the link.
