I heard that with MUOTool (hosted on UOGateway) you could make small patches with only your custom changes in it (anims in this case) and when the player downloaded it, it would make a copy of the player's original UO anim, put it in the uog folder for your shard, and only add your custom chages, making it a lot easier and less time consuming to patch your players up to custom rides, etc. I tried using it, and it just won't work. I followed the directions for it, and searched the UOG forums, but nothing much was said about it. I loaded my anim mul and idx into MUOTool, found the 3 specific anims I wanted players to patch to, saved them as a .MUO file, rar'd it, and hosted it along with my Tiledata for download. I downloaded the same files so I could see what they looked like inside, went to the folder Gateway put them in, renamed them and loaded them into MUOTool. The anims were showing up when I loaded the files into that program, but when I loaded those same files into MulPatcher, those anim slots were empty. Of course, my players couldn't see the animations either. I know my files are ok, because I can see the animations. Just wondering if someone could point out something I overlooked, or something I didn't pick up on.

Yeah, I think I figured out the problem though from something someone else said in another forum. I thought I only needed to extract the slots my custom anims were in, but I guess I have to take out more than that. I'm going to play with it in a little while to see if I can get it to work.
