When I start up PB, it gets to 'Making My Map Files for the map reader and all, and it just freezes at that...is this normal, should I just leave it for ages?

I guess it would depend on how fast your computer is. Or, if you could skip that part entirely, maybe you should do that. I don't think that does anything except load your map files, and show where you are on the map.

Depends if your maps are the default or custom.

Also depends if PB can even find them.

Also make sure you hit the next button Ive sat there for a while and then thought what the hell only to see that I failed to hit next so it never started
