UO Gateway - RunUO

Does anyone have a copy of UOGateway they can send me?
Before you trounce me with "uo gateway is dead" and "go download connectuo" let me explain.

I'm working with linux and .NET application support is still under development. This means no ConnectUO and no Razor for now.

I would very much like a link to UOGateway as from experience I know it to work in with linux flawlessly. I'm not worried about viruses/trojans/spyware/etc.

If someone could ethier post a link or email me a copy I would greatly appreciate it. email is clayton.holloway|at|gmail.com

if their site is down, as it appears to be - it is not going to work, even if you got a copy of it

because it has to link up with their servers, which are no longer there

So you are out of luck totaly with that

your best bet is to run your server from that computer then, but use a windows system to play/connect with

you do not need razor or connect uo running on the server for them to connect to it (mine does not have them on there)

I know I do not need any of these tools to run a server. I'd just like to play UO on linux, but now that UOG is gone I don't see a way.

I know I can use uorice to remove encryption and mod the login file to connect to my shard but I would have patch issues. I can manually patch, but one of the files in the patch is a .muo file and afaik there is no way of manually applying that patch file.

If you know of a way to patch a UO install manually with a .muo file then things would be gravy. :P

I have tried to send it to you twice now...once as the setup.exe and once as a 1.9.0.1266.zip but your email is not taking it. Keeps sending it back. Can not attach to a PM either. Sending it to clayton.holloway@gmail.com does not work.

I was just coming back to say that I have found a copy of the installer. I did have issues with UOG updateing it's files to detect my Mondain's Legacy install, but a friend sent me a copy of her updated uog.rar file.

Everything works smoothly in linux now.
