Default Pandora and Vista

Hi everyone, searched but couldn't find anything about this so sorry if it's already answered.

Are there any solutions to getting PB to work on Vista or is it a complete no go? I'm unable to install it on this system.

Thanks in advance

I could not even get it to work on XP pro... Something about the version of the .Netframework on my system was too high. Sorry, I do not use it since I would have to keep my system too far outdated that I could not use my programs to script with.

.NET Framework 1.1 is not a 'downgrade' to 2.0, 3.0 or 3.5. You install it side-by-side, and it will run the 1.1 programs while 3.5 runs the 2.0-3.5 programs. If you look at all the installation dirs for the framework, you will see that the files are all contained in directories named after their version.

My servers and my Vista workstation all have 1.1 and 3.5 installed together (1.0 too, actually) and there are no issues at all.

Vista does give you a warning when you install 1.1 that you will need to patch it due to a known issue with the original install. But once you get SP1 of .NET 1.1, there's no problem.

Interesting... I did not know that. I might take a look at pandora's set again then. Thanks.
