I kinda went on a ridable creature spree the past couple of days, (once on a roll it is hard to quit) and these are the final outcome. I tried several other creatures as well but they just weren't quite tall enough in most cases and in one case (the rune beetle) was way to big. If anyone knows how to adjust the x and y axis' to change the character's position I would love to know how. Anyway, thanks a ton to Yuri99's FAQ and Tannis' wonderful scripts (her drake, skele drag and polar bear are included in this package) for making it possible for me to learn what to do.

Ridable Mephitis (Per request I scripted Mephitis, however, the graphics don't line up all that great but there you are.)

If anyone has any problem with these please let me know. For some reason some of them leave tracers behind on my local server, but that might be because I've been having some connection problems. I'd love it if others who use this package would let me know if they have the same problem or not. Also, there seems to be some tiling problems with some like the wyvern for instance that would be awesome if I knew how to bring it to the fore front, if anyone has any ideas on how to change that it would make it possible to do more mounts that actually work. I'm pretty sure it'll be the x and y axis but no clue as to where that would be, I looked at the BaseMount file thinking that it might be there but i didn't see anything that looked like those kinds of numbers. If anyone has any ideas, please PM me as this isn't the place for it. =)


To Install:

Drop script files into your custom script folder..
Upload the tiledata and anim file as a .rar file to a webspace...
Patch it through UOGateway...

Updated! Sorry I seem to have added the wrong tiledata.mul to the .rar... I've fixed it and it should work fine now. And I left the pack creatures that way because I was requested to do so, you can of course edit them anyway you wish.....

I also added a ridable Mephitis to this list per request.... The .rar has been updated with the script and the correct tiledata.mul...


It has come to my attention that the ridable sphinx crashes the client during the death of most monsters... I have asked about this but it seems that there isn't much I can do about it... Please keep that in mind if you use these on your shard... I actually recommend using one of the earlier scripts for this mount as it doesn't seem they had a problem with it.......


It seems I forgot to make both Mephitis and the fleshrenderer tamable... Opps.... hehe.. Thanks for catching that LadyRhia... It also seems that some are still getting the lich body with the poor packhorse...If this is the case please do the following steps...

Download mulpatcher... you can google it ...I found it on Ultima Online Builder...
Load it up and open the tiledata.mul file which you unzipped....
In the Tiledata(S) menu... scroll down to the bottom.. you will find all the custom mounts (Drake, polarbear, and skeledragon are above the ballista)
Double check to make sure the packhorses animid is 0x123...
Next...Open up the rpackhorse.cs script, scroll down to about line 19 and make sure that it looks similar to the following.....


Code:
public Rpackhorse ( string name ) : base( name, 0x123, 0x3FF6, AIType.AI_Melee, FightMode.Closest, 10, 1, 0.2, 0.4 )


If either of these are not 0x123, we have found the problem... otherwise please let me know so we can do some more troubleshooting for you.....

Great job on this release, it really helps us programmers that are fluent with C# but break their PC when they try to do any graphics work :(
Again, great work and keep it up. I'm sending some suggestions via PM at the moment ;)

Hate to say this either you put the wrong tiledata or your missing another script for patch cause i tested it patched the tiledata and your in mid air might wanna check the tiledata or add what ever file is missing.

Seems to work fine for me.
I didnt get any tracers.
The Revanant Lion looks a lil odd (sit back a bit far).

Only the polar bear , drake and skeletal you be in mid air and the pack horse when you add it its a lich get on it then its a pack horse the pack llama has the sound of beetle might wanna fix all theses issues.

The pack animals actually have Beetle fight mode (Closest) also meat as preference for food.

I pulled your 1st 3 and love them they work great I like the idea of the ridable lion IE: AsLand from the movie. and think that would be a great rare ridable to have but with things still not quite up to par I will wait to download the rest but again thanks for the 1st 3 they are already on my local shard and will transfer to public when I publish.

Hmmmmm.....

I don't know why you are getting invisible mounts...... Works great for me, granted some better than others. I've reattached the .rar one more time, but after that it is out of my hands as it works great for me and at least one or two other people....

Some of these seem to leave nasty tracers on the screen, the fleshrenderer seems the worst, however, the best ones like the ant lion and the sphinx do not......

To install do you just patch the tledata.mul, or is there something else needed to be done? Can't quite remember...

Could you tell me how exactly you made them ridable, becuase I have custom animations in and would like to try making one or two ridable.

Patch .. update ... tile .. anim ..? huh?? Dunno how to pathch, wtf is an anim, and how do i "upload" it, wha? I guess its off to the FAQ for me! :D

Soon as I get this figured out, I'll add this. Thanks for sharing it!

I must say great job on the new mounts. I did find a few things that didn’t work properly. I noticed that the polar bear and drake and skeletal dragon do not work with out this file. However, with the anim.muo it makes you and the mounts look like an Ogre facing only in one direction once mounted the new mount will show up properly but you still look like an Ogre. This was tested on a fresh install of UOSE on a dedicated server and also tested on one computer locally with the rar files added manually and on the remote computer patched through UOG. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hmmmm... An ogre huh? LOL wonder where THAT comes from... I certianly don't turn into an ogre,although if I did I might have left it that way. hehe... I'm not sure why everyone is having such a hard time. I've added all the files that I use with it. The anim and base tiledata files are from Tannis's mount script package only with the new critters in it. Shouldn't make you an ogre or have invisible mounts. Any scripting gods out there know what the heck is going on?


P.S. Has ANYONE else besides me and Tru loaded these up and not had problems? I've had my husband patch the file and except for the tracers on some of them and the darn sphinx crash they work fine. The pack animals, ridable antlion and gaman work very well without any tracers. Please if someone has successfully downloaded these and had them work without problem please let me know. Otherwise I may have to remove them as I do not wish to be blamed for screwing somebody else's server up.

They work fine for me. I'm having no problems with them. I don't know why anyone else would either..
