2.0 Evil Attacks

i am having a problem with them not leaving the gate area

they just sit there and let themselves be slaughtered
if i move them even 1 inc x or y then they move out and attack like normal
this happens when using a way point or not

is anyone else having this problem?

I am tryin to locate that prob i just ran into it to but not sure what the cause is but it may have to do with the AI setting of certain Monster types so will check there and report back
 
i was using the orclow and orchigh ones, if that helps (also tried the undead one - 1st one in list)

i even tried raising the spawner up 2 z - so they would "fall" to the ground - they just stayed there at z +2

i tried looking to see where they spawn - and i got a headache trying to figure it out :rolleyes: -- what i am thing is if right after they spawn they get x inc by 1 (after the spawn) this would simulate them "coming" through the gate by moving that 1 step - and may then make them "realize" stuff is happening

just a suggestion - might just work (of couse has to have a spot to move 1 x to lol)

the only way as it is set now for them to "leave" the gate is to turn off your player sensitive range(?) thing in base creature to false.
We found that out when we converted the 1.0 version to 2.0 a while back.

If someone can work out an override for that, would be super.

i am also getting command property not found and i got the spawners that cam with runuo2.0 if any one knows how to fix this would they post looks like a great script and i cant wait to get it working

A question, do you think that maybe posible to add a "final npc" a NPC that spawn after killing all other NPCs and them after this NPC is dead create the chest?

Try ArteGordon's PlayerRangeSensitive mod. Not sure if it works with XML spawner though.

I started a system somewhat like this four years ago. Then my duaghter was born and I never completed it.

My code was totally different. What I liked about mine was it placed the spawners active with spawn and waypoints already linked. The hard part I never finished was setting up all the waypoints for every city on all maps.

Mortis, your system does work? because i looking for a City invasion system but i cant find anyone. This evil spawn is close to what i looking for, but i still need to add the "leader" and the brodcast "xxx has been liberated".

well it works for the spawner anyways

will see how it effects stuff in the long run ;) over the next couple of days after i put it in tomorrows restart of my shard
(make sure cpu does not go wild on me, etc)

I think it is on my wife's computer. I will have to find it. Would hate to do all that time consuming work again.
