Info:how to play in French ( UO bug)

many time , people say Uo is not in french on my computer.

this is a bug from de client

to play in french , you should be sure than Windows is configured in french (France)

if your windows is in French (belgium,canada, suisse , what ever other than France) the Localized message didn't work .

Souvent, des gens me dise UO n'est pas en français sur mon PC

c'est un bug du client

pour jouer en français , vous devez etre sur que Windows est configuré en français(france)

Si votre windows est en français(belgique,canada,suisse, ou quoi que se soit d'autre ) la traduction locae des messages ne fonctionne pas.


P.S: if you are better then me in english , correct this Post , this information can be usefull for non english people. and i have a very bad english skill

Bah... The easy solution is:

1. Open a Command Window (Execute-> cmd)

2. Go to your Ultima Online directory

3. Copy *.fra *.frc

Should do the trick for French Canadian.

Who wants to play in french, i mean half of the stuff are in english anyway, and when u speak with an other player u won't even know how to correctly translante the most basic feature of the game in english.

Qui veut avoir Uo en anglais, la moitié des truc sont en anglais de toute facon, et si tu parles avec un joueur etrangé tu seras meme pas comment traduire les trucs les plus basic du jeu.

Well, if someone decides to play on an all french shard, it'd prolly help to have as much in french as possible :-P

RunUO uses localized messages, meaning almost every message you get from UO has already been translated into another language by EA/OSI, they did the work!

Also one of the coolest shard I've ever seen--www.orbzyx.com--is all french/french canadian
