Mono 2 on multicore only using1 cpu

Hello,
Anybody using mono 2.4 on a multicore cpu and have it actually use the other cores?

I did some tests adding 1000's of creatures and the cpu usage spikes and floors one core, but doesn't touch the other 3.

Any ideas?
