Reflector

Apparently Lutz's Reflector is pay only now and due to FORCED updating on older excutables it is impossible to use it now.

Some quick googling and it would appear most people shoved their heads up there ass and demand money as well. Over on Sharpdevelop you can find a ILSpy project. However all that thing does is give me null exceptions.

Does anyone know of a free .NET decompiler that works?

Not to mention, this tool, that you probably use on a regular basis.... is $35...as lame as it is for them to start charging for it NOW, it really isn't an outrageous price to pay for such a powerful tool.
I do like it but oh hey looks there is a list of programs that do the same thing and they are 35 bucks cheaper. *explores*

Really. As you mentioned. Microsoft, the creators & publishers of .NET, offer a free dissemble program making Reflector more of than a formatting tool, it's 35 dollars for increased readability in a formerly free program with several free alternatives you can use instead. "Lame" is indeed an accurate word.

Thanks.
