Freyd's Vampire System 1.1

Here comes my first bigger than others script. Script add vampirism for yours players. Its easy to configure and will give yours players a lot of fun.

26.07.2007 v1.1
#Added sunlight damages. Now vampires will get damage on days (between 6am to 6pm). Players can hide in Players Houses and Dungeons.
Part of this scripts is recovered from Sickness System Re-edited V1.9 and all credits going to creators.
#Removed bug on public override void Resurrect()
#Changes Logout method (now you can easly remove vampire from chosen one player just changing his Vampire value to 0)

How it work:
Player have X% chance (recommended is 10%) to bite other player using command [bite or simply [b (player can use this ability in any time, special power will teleport him to his combatant and quickly bite him but then player will lose his all mana). After success biting, his enemy have X% chance (recommended is 1%) to get vampirism. Player must be on vampire bat form to bite anyone. You must choise one player (or more) who will start vampires (staff with vampirism allways have 100% chance to bite and give vampirism to other players).
Vampire have 20 Str, 5 Dex and 10 Int bonus but his max Fire Resistance is 50 and he get sunlight damages. All of values are easy to configure in Vampire.cs. Also vampires need to drink blood. If they dont bite anyone of other players after 2h of last biting they will lost hp and die. Vampires offcourse can polymorph into vampire bat using command [vampireform or simply [vf. Then they can easly run away from combat.

Important: You can easly disable this system in setup section without deleting characters. You can test it on your shard without any problems if you wouldnt like it in the future.

Warning: This script need few PlayerMobile.cs changes!

does this have any of the stuff for affected by daylight or anything??

also, you may want to take a look at GoldDraco13's sickness system as it has vampire/werewolf stuff in it. and maybe look at combining some of his stuff into yours to have a good stand alone vampire system.

i like your bonuses, but may want to look into maybe giving increased caps or something of the sort....but also have limitations on some stuff and what not (such as the daylight = death mentioned above) that would give some limitations on their new and greater powers.

just some suggestions....good script though :)

As I have a CRL ( close to real life shard - learned that abbbreviation from Vhaerun ;) ) And a Europe Map, I might implement it in Transylvania :D

I -LOVE- this!! It's amazing! :D Great job! And am SOOO using it ;):D I've a question though, how would you change the amount of time and damage a Vampire would take in the sun? Any options for (no damage in the sun, less time needed to drink blood) for a Half-Vampire? And if the shard owner wanted to change the amount of time that the Vampire would have to drink blood to being lesser/more? Say change it to 24 UO hours instead of 2, and maybe have the warning still play out in the last two hours?

Just thinking to make it more realistic, and enable the player's chances of turning someone into a Vampire which would go GREAT with RP shards :D

Ak! Found a problem. Have I done something wrong? Knowing me, I bet I did X3 Here's the error I got:

N/M I fixed it! From looking threw the other scripts here. For anyone having this problem it's because his script was created to run with a SVN version of RunUO and the name is a bit different for the RunUO 2.0 regular version. It also changes how the mount shows.

Just go into your Vampire.cs file and replace the SpeedControl.MountSpeed with SpeedBoost.Enabled

And then a little under that change:
SpeedControl.Disable to SpeedBoost.Disabled

Very nice job, i always wanted to put something like that in my shard....
but i need a help in one thing:

if unless i put 1% chance to someone get vampirism i put a chance and them the player is asked... if he wants to be a vamp, yes or no

well, if yes he is turned if no he continue normal

LAST CASE means yours last number of case what you have. In youra PlayerMobile.cs LAST CASE is 25 and NEXT CASE is 26. So you should add:

I'm using Windows XP and this scripts works good there. I have no idea how to fix your problem because i never trying to write something using Linux with Mono. Sorry...

Freyd: ah, well, i found the problem, it happen to be in the (old) sick system with the vampire sickness too...

It was the World.Mobiles.Values it either doesn't work on SVN or it just doesn't work on mono.
