I would like to see RunUO support multiple maps. OSI already has two, map0.mul and map2.mul. Is it possible to make a new map, call it map3.mul, and add it to the RunUO config?
That's not really possible, as no clients (to my knowledge) support other than map0.mul and map2.mul. If OSI ever does add this functionality, it should be trivial to implement it server side.
well couldn't the client still be able to read the maps so long as they are the same size as one of the other two? Isn't that the whole idea behind custom maps?
