Trouble with Pandoras box

every time i start it up it will give me an error reading " The file boxdata.xml could not be found in the data folder. reinstalling will fix this problem but it does not. I tried also installing the new data folder found in downloads and that did not correct the problem. Any sugestions?

well when it said that to me it was cause my shortcut was somewhere and the xml file was somewhere else they need to be together eith eron the desktop or the same folder

You should check out the Pandora installation folder. The structure should be as follows:

- ...\Pandora's Box\
this folder has TheBox.exe the *.ocx files, some .dll files.
- ...\Pandora's Box\Data\
this folder should contain the BoxData.xml as well as some other xml files.

If you receive that message it means that you're running TheBox.exe from a different location. Re-installing and running it from the start menu shortcut should fix that.
