Lol, don't you work with Microsoft and help develop Visual Studio? =P
Btw, only thing I absolutely hate about the new Visual Studio is the new mono-chrome look. Icons were already small enough, making them all the same color as made me go back to use the menu bar and keyboard shortcuts.
Is it possible to change the theme of the icons?

Btw, win 8 seemed pretty pants to me, now i'm "ok" with Win 7, but win XP 64bits was the best windows for me... Anyways, in some stages Microsft has our hands tied so we need to use their OS... Specially if you want to play most of the videogames out there today.
