you almost reach an orgasm when you hold your new mother board in your hands while your about to install it.

you have shivers of excitement while installing your new processor on your mother board.

while updating your ram to duel channel and you can't stay put on your chair.

(yes that was me today before/during the post)

you know your an ultra geek when you post on boards about these feelings :confused: :eek: :rolleyes:

Its actually both, they say you should join because of the connections you can make, but you don't have to join the organization. The membership the local chapters are free to students, if you want to be part of IEEE or ACM you have to pay a membership though.

I do that all the time. I'll be at school, and out of nowhere ill be like WTF you newb. They're like what the heck is newb?

There was a kid at my school last year that called everyone newb... yeah everyone hated him and we eventually ran him off to Tennesee (sorry all you guys over there, but we couldn't stand him anymore!)

You get home from school and wet your pants about going on newegg
Have yet to get a date at 15 (Meh) :[
Take apart computers for the fun of it, even if its your main comp and you break it (Meh :[)
Get bored out of your wits and see "Hmm, how can I get around this porn blocker..."
Or you hack your school to lower your grades (meh, lol)
Hack your school to up your grades after lowering them (Meh, lol)
Talk to your dog more then your famility/friends (Meh, AGAIN)
Use online chatrooms in place of friends
Script instead of doing homework
Undermine your parents feeble attempts at blocking porn then rubbing it in their faces
Kill a computer as a practical joke (I did that, I scripted a program that always ran screensaver... lolz)
LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!!
Make your own computer out of needles, paper mache, and a prebuilt computer. (Never did that, but I wanna!)

you know you're a geek when you're so excited about writing about geekness that you write your as "your cat is on fire" instead of you're as "you are a dumbass Radwen".

you know you're a geek when someone pinpoints a mistake to you and it obesses you so much that you'll never do it again :p.

you know you're a geek when you feel your life is better once that you've planned a LAN. :rolleyes:

dam, well that defently makes me a geek then, 6 out of 12.

and it's my pc so there are no prn blockers for me to gt round. although i'm wuite sue i could manage it.

you know you're a geek when your friends/familly call you one O_O.

you know you're a geek when you jump on your computer to post on forums when you've got 5 minutes left before your bus passes.

and lastly for today ...

you know you're a geek when you stick your amd 64bit sticker on your wallet so you can show off to your friends :confused:.
