...see, you haven't told me WHY I'd want to run OS X, so I'd say we're still on par, so far...

You have failed to show how the PC is less "ghey". Personaly I would take a finely polished machine over a machine that was built for as cheap as possible any day. Just because apple actualy makes their products look good doesnt mean their products are "ghey".

I highly doubt apple is going to go under any time soon. If anything is going to go away its going to be Windows (not necessarily Microsoft). While Windows remains dominant in the US it is loosing its monopoly in other countries (especially 2nd world countries).
