is this the one that uses xml? or is it all stored on mobiles and props n shtuff? past experiance with xml stuff gave me a brainefart that lasted a year =S too many file n shtuf lol must be me though lol

Thought id have a look at this as it looks interesting, all installed fine but there a few problems..


1) When a player dies and his bank is full, all the items stay on the corpse, is this meant to happen?

2) For some reason one player went to the correct location, but the other to location 0,0,0 in felucca!

Not tested anything else as i didnt get past this hurdle, i havent looked at the script at all, but thought id report this.

challenge game bug

found yet another challenge game mishap..if you get weakened in a duel you go into the next duel with less hp :)

Nope, stored in the Playermobile, not in Xml :). Also, that IS a bug with the player's items staying on the corpse. I am sorry, but I do not know a fix for it atm, and it will be fixed ASAP.

It shows a way to delete all items if not young... basically since you are using flags in playermobile do something that in OnDeath or OnBeforeDeath or something it checks if you have the flag set to true for inChallege or whatever it is then if its true have it loop through the layers and whatever isnt null have it move to the player pack. The young code has checks all throught it for if a player is young maybe there is an example in the young player code that will do what you want to with keeping items.

I think "illegal items" for example artifacts are meant to go into the players bankbox until after the fight. They could be stored in a temporary container on the internal map until after the fight and im sure there are a few other options of what you can do.

I got errors using a custom playermobile.cs. The case lines of code are what cause the problem. You have to fill in the blanks where HE WRITES IN ALL CAPS.

Thats just how it would look using a default playermobile.cs, mine has 22 cases with the Challenge system installed. If that doesn't fix it, double check your additions make sure you didn't miss anything important with the copy/paste. If all else fails, cross reference the downloaded playermobile.cs with the custom one you're using.

Thanks Prig. Got it working except for if the player is wearing Noewbied or blessed items. They like to remain on the corpse lol. I look around and see what i can tweak for this.

By the way, any chance you are gonna release the changes you made on your shard for others that want a UO:R damage type shard? Yours seem to be pretty descent on damage now. Most of the others are still jacked when disabling AoS.

Ok only problem with this script is that anything that ISNT blessed remains on the corpse after death. Shouldnt it take and put everything into the same bag it places your ethie mounts... Otherwise you lose your items

I have the same problem. It could be fixed with making a ring and add a door to it, but again.. that would also allow people to interfere, or participants to flee from the duel.

Ok here is the script. I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to make sure that all items will be placed in the bag after the duel ends. RIght now as it stands any items that are Noob or Regular stay on the corpse. The only items that end up in the bank or in the ressurected players backpack are Blessed items. Obviously we need all items to end up in the bank bag. Any help here please.

It was bugproof actually. The reason that happened is I didn't think there was a way around it. And thanks for your input Khold, I will fix that and add your name to it! TY :)
