my original point though is that anime is the predominate form of entertainment in Japan and naturally this causes a lot of trash to be created. its the equivalent of the explosion in reality tv popularity

comedy central only made it on my list because of the daily show and the colbert report.

I also watch ctv9 (Chinese channel in English) occasionally because of the shows on Asian economy and Chinese culture.
