Why don't you. The server decides the casting time, not the client. PlayUO is a client. It cannot overrule a (RunUO, at least) server. Why do you think speedhacks don't work on RunUO Servers

Hi all, I am new to the UO free shard thing, and would like to ask a starter question.

For playing on the free shard, is PlayUO the only thing I need?

I don't understand about step #4 in the first post:

4.) I installed the 2D UO Client and updated it fully

Does that mean I have to buy the game from EA first?

(I used to have a copy of UO: Renaissance, but it was long ago, and I no longer have it with me.)

no you donot have to buy the game the client dl is free , Have to look for older clients though ea site has 7.10 client most likely will not work.

I assume I should get the classic client, correct?

The classic client is UOClassicSetup_7_0_10_3.exe, and you mentioned that doesn't work?

Well if you look at earlier post saying it only supports up to 7.0.8.2 I suggest getting a older client like modains legacy and patch up to .7.0.8.2
