RunUO Beta 34 has been released, you can find it in the downloads section. As always, remember to backup your worldfile and scripts before updating.

ChangedScripts.txt was not included in this release. This was an oversight, and the download may be fixed tomorrow. Until then, you can view the file: here

Here's the changelog:

Fixes:
  • HWInfo command should now work correctly when targeting other players
  • Clients should no longer sometimes get stuck when trying to connect to a server
  • A movement issue which caused players to get stuck in one building in Malas
  • A bug in the optimized A* pathfinding algorithm was fixed
  • Pole arm concussion blows should now properly lower the targets intelligence
  • Bank boxes no longer send the 'delete object' packet when closed, which should prevent some client crashes (BankBox.SendDeleteOnClose override)
  • Attack chance bonus is now taken from the attacker
  • Potential server crash when using [gset map
  • Magical weapons can again be found on creatures in AOS servers
  • Magical jewelry can again be found on treasure chests in AOS servers
  • Lumberjacking should now gain when attacking with an axe on pre-AOS servers
  • House doors placed on the east edge of customizable houses can now be closed manually
  • Killing a monster with a pet will now give fame and karma to the master
  • Two guild gumps should now draw their 'previous page' buttons correctly
  • Map.CanFit (also called by Map.CanSpawnMobile) should now properly handle a few rare situations relating to steps/ladders and impassable land tiles
  • The following creatures no longer inflict 100% physical damage as well as their other elemental damage types:
    • Imps
    • Efreets
    • Lich Lords
    • Gibberlings
    • Rotting Corpses
    • Energy Vortices
    • Blood Elementals
    • Wanderers of the Void[/list:u]
    • Numerous issues which could raise (or, in some cases, not lower) item count:
      • Feeding pets
      • Filling potion kegs
      • Deleting a filled commodity deed
      • Attempting to place a boat in an invalid location
      • Mining, lumberjacking, or fishing when your backpack is full[/list:u][/list:u]


        Changes:
        • On auto-account servers, only one account may be created per IP address (Scripts/Accounting/AccountHandler.cs: MaxAccountsPerIP)
        • Bounds.bin updated to reflect client patch 4.0.0o
        • Tailoring LBOD 'Fishergirl' now has a full apron, rather than half
        • Amount of power scrolls rewardable from champions reduced to 6 (from 12), however, the justice virtue can be used to get more
        • Land tile centerpoint calculation updated to match OSI (and what the client thinks)
        • Many teleporters updated for the above change (run [telgen again!)
        • House placement terrain rules slightly relaxed--some bumps in terrain are now ignored
        • House placement now just checks land tiles for surfaces (where previously it checked statics and items)
        • Town guard protection messages updated to be sent like OSI
        • Explosion potions now function closer to OSI
        • Tiledata fields are now settable (ie, TileData.ItemTable[0x123].Impassable = false)
        • Potion kegs should now stack on top of eachother properly
        • Min/max damage values of lesser and regular explosion potions swapped
        • For AOS houses, only co-owners and higher may now rename the house or view co-owner list
        • Crafting at the bare minimum skill requirement (with 0% success chance) now gives a chance to gain skill
        • Metal kite shields are now dyable
        • Weapon swing speed algorithm tweaked to match OSI
        • Fist weapon speed tweaked to match OSI
        • Width of the Value label in the skills gump decreased, should resolve odd dragging issues
        • Body value of Ancient Wyrms tweaked to match OSI
        • Attack/Defend chance AOS attributes tweaked to match OSI
        • Exceptional damage bonus for non-runic weapons changed to 35% (was 40%)
        • Inscribing a scroll now checks mana before skill
        • Hue of tribal berries tweaked to match OSI
        • Hue of sweet dough tweaked to match OSI
        • Bulk order deed graphic tweaked to match pub19 (AOS only)
        • Spell channeling items are now created, by default, with -1 faster casting
        • Short and long spears can no longer be poisoned on pre-AOS servers
        • On AOS servers, the message sent when attempting a mount while polymorphed or transformed now matches OSI
        • Houses may no longer be placed over furrows (farmland)
        • Newly created mage characters now start with a robe and a wizards hat
        • Necromancers will now receive a skirt instead of a cloak
        • Players casting a spell (even if the target is up) can no longer enter moongates
        • Attack chance algorithm should now match OSI (AOS only)
        • Cooking is now a craft skill, invoked through flour sifters, rolling pins, or skillets
        • Beverages redone to match OSI, including: multiple uses, pouring, filling
        • Meditation will now drop equiped weapons and shields rather than giving the message 'your hands must be free...' Spell channeling items will remain equiped
        • AOS 'Hit Leech' effects tweaked:
          • Life Leech is now 30% of damage (up from 10%)
          • Mana Leech is now 40% of damage (up from 20%)
          • Stamina Leech is now 100% of damage (up from 20%)[/list:u]

                • AOS servers only:
                  • Paladin ability max skill changed to min+50 (was: min+40)
                  • Lower Reg Cost is now used for tithing points of paladin abilities
                  • Players under Vampiric Embrace are now immune to poison (up to level 4)
                  • Pain Spike damage now causes more stamina loss than normal damage
                  • Summoned gates (by Gate Travel) to Felucca are now red
                  • Entering a summoned gate from Trammel (or Ilshenar or Malas) to Felucca will now show a warning gump
                  • Spell casting and recovery delays now matches OSI (including necromancy and chivalry)
                  • All damage delays are now fixed at 1 second
                  • Explosion delay changed to 3.0 (up from 2.5), but no longer has delayed damage
                  • Earthquake no longer has delayed damage
                  • Fireball now has a damage delay
                  • Magic Arrow now has a damage delay
                  • Mind blast particle/effect is now delayed one second, but no damage delay after that effect
                  • Paralyze may not be cast on someone already frozen, paralyzed, or casting a spell
                  • Precasted spells may not be targeted after being frozen or paralyzed
                  • Meteor Swarm and Chain Lightning will do more damage when distributed over multiple targets
                  • Protection spell now slows casting delays (effective -2 faster casting)
                  • When casted from a player to a player, curse lowers the targets maximum resistance value to 60
                  • Harm particle/effects and sound now matches OSI
                  • Arch Protection particle effect now matches OSI
                  • Sound of fireball now matches OSI
                  • Mass Curse will no longer effect the caster
                  • Chain Lightning will no longer hurt the caster
                  • Mana Vampire now always leeches the amount: (casterEvalInt - targetMagicResist)
                  • Mana Drain now lasts just 5 seconds, but always drains the amount: 40 + (casterEvalInt - targetMagicResist)
                  • Strangle will now hit (spiritSpeak / 10)[min 4] times, rather than always 4
                  • Polymorph can no longer be cast when transformed
                  • Sacred Journey mana cost is now 10 (down from 20), tithing is now 15 (down from 20)
                  • Holy Light mana cost is now 10 (down from 15)
                  • Transformation spells can no longer be cast when polymorphed
                  • Vengeful Spirit:
                    • Control slots are checked before casting
                    • Effect and sounds now match OSI
                    • Range at which revenants teleport is now 15 tiles (previous was 10)
                    • Revenants will no longer always teleport to your location, instead, it can be up to 4 tiles away
                    • Revenant stats, skills, damages, and resistances now match OSI[/list:u][/list:u][/list:u][/list:u]

Did you fix the Necro creation, where if you select Necromancer from the list, so it will give you the right stats? In 33 it was not assigning anything to str dex or int, you just kept 10 at each.

this is awsome!!!! erm 1 ? erm on the default faster casting for spellchanlling -1 is there a chance to get a spell channleing w/o a casting delay??

man i can't wait for the next one but yes i can good work!!

What you mean about time. Rushed stuff comes out badly much like Sphere or the orginal UO.

Anyway great new beta. Fixed a ton of crash bugs which I am glad about.

But the best update is the Tailoring LBOD 'Fishergirl' now has a full apron, rather than half. *Sexy!*

Okay, good job, you fixed alot of things and added something ive been killing for.......cooking! So first off thanks for the new patch!

But. the things i have been expecting are the necro spells Animate Dead to be fixed, and the familar summon Death Adder. If you could post any information bout these it would help, but other then that excellent work!

One of your best things about you all, is that you release changes very quickly. Whether they be weekly or monthly, you guys do it consistantly without errors. Many other emu's spend months on getting a release out which was never ready for release.

You are the creme of the crop.

Now let me get back to reading the changelog....
