Think of it as a gathering of the most depraved and twisted minds of the internet. Everyone there pretty much posts as anonymous and the only thing not allowed is Kiddy Porn. It's a vibrant mix of everything from Christian Fanatics, Racists, Athiests, Porn Addicts, and Stoners. It's also the source of the Famous Rules of the Internet, and where a large number of the most interesting, disturbing, twisted, and just plain funny pictures manage to find their home. Nothing is sacred there, they laughed with glee at the VT Murders, the kid who commited Suicide when his iPod was stolen is an icon there. It's a store house of knowledge from the minds of the insane and in many cases unwanted.

YOu know the funny thing is that you can have support for the 2 clients and we still have people whining that they hate KR... WHO CARES play old uo then but still support it i think it looks better someone else may not so why not support both. As for legality issues man they have not touched runuo thus far so why would they bother?

I saw another site somewhere where one of the devs elaborated on the "while" as most likely a few years. IF UO lasts that long I think the 2d client being phased out over a few years will not be a problem since they will make so many changes to KR in that time it will probably look completely different anyway.

As for not being able to access the new content, all of uo's expansions work that way anyway. I'm not seeing your point here...

I dont know about anyone else but the 3d client can rest in pieces.

Okay i still didnt read the rest of the thread because i just happened to see this thread but Avelyn your right but your wrong.

EA (Orgin) Said that once there will be 95% of the people logged on to UOKR at ANYTIME meaning if there is 10 people on all of UO shards and 95% of them are using KR even if they felt like trying it out for instance that EA will STOP supporting the 2D Client and most of the people playing OSI UO were so happy about the UOKR even though its very shitty and too laggy and makes your eyes hurt, You would also need a high video card with a high speed internet connection. But back to the point once there is 95% of logins at anytime on UOKR say goodbye to OSI 2D. So for all the OSI players keep logging onto 2D and stay on so they dont let it go. (not like i would careless considering i play RunUO Shards but anyways). Even if they dont do that since they said after the new expansion they are going to release you will need to use the KR client for it to work or something like that, So they are trying to kill UO or they think that they can actually make it better once they are really making it worse. Well time to make some other posts and read other threads

Wait! I forgot to add in conclusion what they are really doing is on OSI they basically are forcing you to play UOKR or quit and come to Freeshards.

Oh yeah just as an addition i think that 3D is better than KR!

It still amuses me that people choose to waste thier time and braincells debating something that isn't up for debate. No amount of banter will change what is going to be. For gawd sake...take up shuffleboard or something, as it's a far more productive waste of time. (oxymoron intended.)

It's not the colors.

It is not the colors that attract me to the new kr but it is the deeper detail that attracts me. It has always been the grafix that make me decide to play a game or not, like diablo, legacy of kain and of course ultima online and all ultimas at that fact, well, not all ultimas, and the list goes on. Call me superficial but i've always liked my women beautiful. But all that asside, I am glad that runuo will not support kr "colors" because when everyone is over the glam of ea they will always long for the good old days of basic ultima online. And if runuo changed we would not have anywhere to go.

I wouldn't say KR is detailed...I mean honestly it's kinda fuzzy looking...for example, and yes I have it zoomed out just a touch...

This poll only has a yes or no option, I like the KR graphics better
then the 2d client, but compared to other games I play they are not.

who cares anyway run uo's not supporting it and no one is going
to run a server on it, you can't add custom maps or anything at this
