Archeological system

Thank you, I have changed that, but still does not work saying the brush has an error the dig region does not exist in the server.region

Lets try this, go ahead and drop in that script which I uploaded for you(into your custom folder) Also be sure you change the name in it if needed to your name in the Regions.xml
Then see if the brush still gives an error If it does please upload your Regions.xml script along with your brush script so that I might take a look at those :)
Its fine to have your region in tram- just be sure it is a sand area

I am trying now, I am assuming that x and y are the start locations and the height and width are how many squares out from that point.

It would of been better if you just uploaded your Regions.xml script
With what you posted I don't see
- <ServerRegions> Above the --Facet name="Trammel">
You didn't state if you added the script which I uploaded for you then did a server restart?
If you did the cords before for this I would use your cords for the beach area as my cords were for a huge sand area.

The Regions.xml script which you uploaded, I don't see a new region added into this any where for ArcheologicalDigRegion
Maybe you shoud wait to see if Hammerhand can adjust his system for those wanting this, but not with a region, just for sand areas.

When I do a search within your Regions.xml script for --Find On This Page
ArcheologicalDigRegion--there are no matches. Plus I went threw the script twice and found no code :/

I think I know whats up, in the "Archeological Brush.cs, MyCustomRegionArcheology.cs and Regions.xml" files MUST all have the same spelling for the word "ArcheologicalDigRegion". So, in Archeological Brush.cs on line 31 I believe is where you'll find "ArcheologicalDigRegion" and in MyCustomRegionArcheology.cs on line 18 and in the Regions.xml file where you entered the "ArcheologicalDigRegion" MUST have ALL the same spelling. I had the same error, but after I put "MyCustomRegionArcheology.cs " in (posted earlier on in this thread) and corrected the spelling issues it fired right up. now I am just setting up the regions, I have a custom map Ultima VI http://www.runuo.com/community/threads/custom-map-maker.92307/#post-783452 that I am setting it up in the Blood Plains.

I have tried the location at the dessert east of brit and it works fine, just need to pin point the locations now

Y = Down

so "x, 4 y, 2" is like this:

Now hieght and width is:

height runs the X direction (not the coords) and is the size the box will be in Height (top to bottom) in increments of "1"
Width runs the Y direction (not the coords) and is the size the box will be in width (left to right) in incements of "1"

so lets say you want the box to be a 10 by 10 box at X,4 Y,2 then it would look like this - <rect x="4" y="2" width="10" height="10" />

I hope this helps out some.

Dang , see this is what happen's when the owner forgets to inform others of a change in a script! Sorry about that, thanks Obsidian Fire for pointing this out :)

Hammerhand is working on creating this so any one who does not want a region, the brush will work any where there is sand. So just give him a couple more days and he should have a release. ;)
