You updated through Windows Update to the last Peer to Peer workstation support package, including support for IP VI.
It can be uninstalled in Add/Remove Programs, it's a HotFix. But don't uninstall it if there was a reason that you added it in the first place. That could be causing it.
It's the only possibility that I can think of at the moment. You can always re-add that through Windows Update later if it turns out to not be the issue.
Or you can double check everything you've done to date just to make sure you didn't make a typo or any other error.
Is there anything in add/remove that has reference to Teredo or the Advanced Networking Pack for Windows XP?
It can also be removed via the Device Manager, right click on 'My Computer' then left click on properties on the context menu that pops up. Then select the tab that says hardware, then select device manager.
It should be listed under Network Adapters.
