House Builder RC 12.2 & RC 13

Hi!

Ok, here is a newer Version of the House Builder.

Download RC 12.2 ~181kb

Download RC 13 ~184kb

Added/Fixed :

- Hue tiles, building hued tiles in uo, save the hued tiles
- Selection rewritten
- Bugs in save routine
- Hue picker

RC 13 :

- Import Multis
- Import Multi text files
- Multi Viewer

Have fun with the new version.....please post bugs when u find some.

Oh i think i can tell u how the roofing in far future works :

U have a tile, like select or delete, which marks the area of the roof. U only must place them and push one button, make some config and u got ur roof.
It will build the roof at the placed tiles automaticly. ( I hope u understand what i mean :) ) It will be extremly easy to build the roof :cool:
I working on it at the moment, but the todo list is at first position...

Great news about zooming the design :

I got it.....but at the moment u only can get half size or full size......at this moment i think this is enough.....after removing some bugs, i will post the test version here.

How I can move ?...

Look this house, is much big ... bug I can't move out from this screen :|

I have tryed with Page UP\Down move cursor, scroll of my mouse... all I have tryed :|

hey, what about setting that "preview tile" on the right to movable?
would be a lot better than fixed

Only one thing pops up right now, that I might think is a bug.
When you go to put a multi in, it delete's your whole design, even the foundation gets deleted. If this is by design, nobiggy, but if a bug. Just wanted to bring up. :cool:

- Run ur UO Client and log in your Server with admin account.
- Go to the location where u want to add the building. Your position is the upper left corner f the building
- Go in HouseBuilder and choose build from the Design menu.
- Go back in ur uo client and don't move....wait until the building is ready.

????? i don't get any popup, and every import u make will create a new designer window...( MDI ;) ) it don't overwrite any other design u make before...

Ah.. I think what I am asking about is when you put a Multi in, why not have it so you can put it over the top of your design, IE adding a stair case, BUt when you add it, have it floating till you place it with a left click.. Hope this makes sence.. :D

I get an error when running this:

What is proper installation/use of this?

The error I get is:
Registered JIT debugger is not available.

Any suggestions?
 
Bugs and Requests

I'm using r13

Bug: The fourth floor is off of alignment.


Another Bug, sometimes when checking the properties of objects, if you check two objects that are the same object just at different locations, the location will be the same. Also when checking properties, it will sometimes move the object's z status just when you click on it to check it.

Request: Have the ability to use some form of circle of transparency or something similar. Or make all walls slighty transparent.

How do you zoom?

And another request: the color system is kinda annoying.. add the ability to enter the specific hue.. and/or set a default hue.

:p radical program by the way... totally beats anything else i've found.

I'm on Win xp pro and running the new hb 13 version.

When I press export to uo script it gives an error saying :

I have some other questions as well.

Many people seem to not be able to scroll around. How do we scroll? On some older version I was able to use arrow keys but not on this one. Maybe let us zoom way out or move around for the bigger ones we make for example 100 x 100.

Is there a way with the new version to make the house normal...like a static house and not owned by anyone? Or will these houses need owners?

Do these buildings use static tile memory or do they count as one object because of the script? This would help cut down save times on servers for sure if it saw the building as one object like they do the other houses from deeds.

Last note! Keep up the great work! Each version is getting better and better! :)

The problem with unlimited number of floors is that players standing on the ground can't see past the 3rd floor. It's beyond their limit of sight.

maybe make some floors underground. Like a basement. I've already been doing some work like that on my own and its pretty neat how it ends up looking and working. :D
