RunUO with Mondain's Legacy

For those of you who are having troubles adding Mondain's Legacy into RunUO SVN. Well here you go! I have done all the work for you.

I have incorporated MalGanis Mondain's Legacy files into the RunUO files for you.

All dll's and executables are provided as well. And guess what. I have done it for both 32bit and 64bit users as well.

So where can you find it? Well.......

First download your favorite SVN tool. I am using TortoiseSVN. If you don't have one already.

Somewhere on your screen right click your mouse and you will come up with your options as you normally would and select SVN Checkout. See pic below..



Then you will be given a program box that looks like this.....



Then enter "http://runuomondains.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/" (without quotes) in the URL of Repository box. Below that enter where you want the whole system to be downloaded to such as C:\runuomondains.

Click ok and allow it to completely download till it is done. It will say updated to revision ??? when done. Visit the download section to download your exe and dll files that you need.

You have successfully download from my google code site. And are ready to start your server.

Important information for those who prefer to compile their own core.....


Important update information

For those of you who download my precompiled server core exe files. Please be sure to empty your Scripts/Output folder. That way it forces the server to do a fresh compile with the new exe.

I will try to keep it updated as much as I can. So when Mal or SVN makes changes I'll try to add those changes in as well. When that happens I'll try to remember to post a message here to let everyone know.

Update core files yet again to comply with RunUO SVN 313.  There is a new exe file to be downloaded.

Changed the Reward Choice Gump by removing the next and previous buttons in the cloting and statuettes pages.  Seems like accounts at reward level 1 had messed up choices. and some were not available.  I made the gump larger to have all of the monster statuettes and reward clothing to fit on 1 page.
 
[COLOR=blue]3-4-09:[/COLOR]  Reward Choice Gump is fixed properly now.  All buttons are back and the Choice gump is the size it should be now.

Updated system to allow Neruns Distro to spawn and remove Bedlam Spawners.   Not sure if Bedlam is spawned 100% accurate or not.  But at least there are monsters in there now.

There were several updates.... :eek:
 
1.) Updated to Mondain's Legacy revision 44.
 
2.) Updated to Veteran Rewards revision 1.07
 
3.) If you have any Malas Mountain Pass houses or Church at Night houses or deeds out in the world.  They may delete.  I have updated them to comply with the Veteran Reward system by MalGanis.
 
4.) I also included the base installation of XML Spawner by ArteGordon.  (This is the basic installation. No frills or addons are included. As not everyone will use all functions.  I have left those to individual shard owners).
 
5.) I also added in a Web Stone which was originally the Web Terminal by Sythen.  But since his required modifications to tiledata.mul, art.mul and so on, I changed it to be able to be used by any shard without modifying such files. 
 
6.) Updated the Sea Horse to be tamable and added water ring to allow players to ride the Sea Horse. (Must be GM Animal Taming to tame)
 
7.) Removed a floating large forge in Tokuno.cfg.

Updated to Mondain's Legacy SVN 45 and removed references to the water ring and the Sea Horse is no longer tamable. Also modified Initializer.cs to allow all spell weaving spells to work properly.

Updated to Mondain's Legacy SVN 46.  Also added in Personal Bless Deeds and Item Bless Deeds.  Personal Blessed items will only be able to be worn/equipped by the person who blessed them (hence Personal Bless).  
             Also fixed the Vet Reward Chioce Gump so it will work properly now.

Modified a few teleporters so that they generate properly.  Do the following before you restart the shard to incorporate this SVN release.  If you have not fixed the teleporters in Ice, Destard or Wrong Dungeons use the teleporter delete button in the admin menu and then restart server and then generate the teleporters with the admin menu.  The teleporters will then be fixed.
 
Added the second spiderweb to Mephitis.  Is in the form of an Addon Deed.
 
Updated Nerun's Distro to newest version 5.1.2.
 
Also updated a few files I forgot to update before.
 
Added Tormented Minotaur although it's not spawned yet.  But it's there.  Don't know if stats and stuff are correct.  But it's a working model of it anyway.

Added more Champ Deco Artifacts.  Added another Unique Champ Artifact.  Fixed the Spiderwebs from Mephitis.

Fixed AnimalForm.cs.  You will be able to use the skill once again.
Also added a check for the Talisman of the Fey (Ferret Form) to allow Ferret form to steal.
Fixed issue while using the stealing skill without targeting and then casting the animal form spell then targeting creature to still be able to steal. Unless in Ferret form.
Fixed the Monstrous Interred Grizzle Spawning in the Palace of Paroxysmus.  It will now spawn as an Interred Grizzle instead.  Please remove the Paroxysmus spawns in trammel and felucca and respawn it to see the changes.  This update was provided by Nerun's Distro 5.1.3.

Fixed a few minor issues.
 
Added the ability for Felucca Champ Spawn creatures to now have a 50/50 chance of dropping either Scroll of Transcendence or 105 Non Craft Power Scroll.

Craftable Artifacts will now retain original hue and not resource hue.
Tweaked Champ Boss Artifact drop.

Fixed a bug with Transcendence scroll.
 
Added new ToT Pigments.  May not be correct hues but they are close.
 
Reorganized the Champ Boss Artifacts.
 
Replaced Dryad file with more up to date one.  Now has Disrobe ability as well as Area peace.

Made the Fire Rabbit act more like the Vorpal Bunny.
 
Gnaw and Swoop now have special abilities and will now drop ML Artifacts.

Removed the random chance to drop arcane scrolls from previous update and converted those scripts to the way it is in the other scripts.

DL it and everything works great, now just have 1 question. How can I dl neruns distro into this or is it possible?

AAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH way too many updates!!! I have been out of the game for too long now things used to be really easy!

Callandor2k if you like you can add my Mondain's Legacy Map to your downloads google since it's part of ML.


Mal has already incorporated that into his system. The dungeons are already spawnable (Blighted Grove, Twisted Weald and such) Just gotta use the commands to enable them. And they are in Neruns as well, well for the most part they are. not sure if it is fully done yet though in Neruns.

Also your system uses XML spawner which I have not incorporated into the system either.

But if people want it in I can do so. I have no problem with it.

I've gone the hard way to manually merge ML #31 into SVN 302 when I launched my shard. I know it won't be hard at all to find the changes and merge them for ML #34, but using Nerun's system, I'm kind of confused what I need to do if there are any new spawns that need to be set. In other words, how would I include new spawns (using Nerun's system) if they are release, into an already spawned and running shard?

Thanks for all your hard work. It really helps a lot!

Use the Premium Stone to see what an be spawned by neruns system. It gives you options on what to spawn in each map.

Ok, I think I follow ya here. So, with that, I'll just get new areas (that are unchecked) when I run the spawner option? I would assume that those areas are not added via scripts, but by other files, right?

Ok... call me a nimrod or whatever, but.... I got TortoiseSVN, but past that I'm sort of... uummm... lost. :eek: I got the google dl's I needed, but how do I use tortoisesvn to dl the server files? Its probably quite easy, but I just got off work and my minds already in bed (actually I dont think it even got OUT of bed last night..). Hints anyone? I want an updated test server to crash (which I've gotten very skilled at). :D
