Exactly. I have no problems with being polite. But I am short, not vertically challenged. I have a disability, I'm not differently abled. This is the kind of crap that I'm talking about. Also another thing that sounds good in theory, but doesn't work in practice are "Zero Tolerance" policies....ugh don't even get me started...:D

That's the same kind of thing though. You can be short, you can be disabled, you can be whatever you want and you can label anyone else however you want. Other people don't think that's the correct way though, and you will have people tell you so. It's a social reaction to perceived problems with wording. Big deal.

It becomes more of a problem when government tries to legislate it. Some local governments are starting to try. Even though, it's purely symbolic, it's still the principle behind the whole thing.

Well I for one CAN say this much! THIS LAW IS TRUE!! My cousin just got a 500.00 ticket for DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD SMOKING WITH HER WINDOW DOWN!!! My mother just got a 500.00 ticket for smoking on her front porch!!!!!!

If peoples rights ain't being broken then i am glad as fuck that as soon as i get hte money i am leaving the states!

This is soppsoed to be a FREE country! yet there ain't a DAMM thing free here anymore. All our government is worried about is thier pocketbook! not only are they BANNING smoking they are raising the taxes? taxes on cigarettes are going up 1.00 sometime this year! I grew up in that hell hole of a state and got out of it when they started making bullshit laws! or should i say when i realised they was. If the state i am in now turns around and does it i'll leave here too!

BTW those 2 tickets took place in Kankakee, Illinois!



Also, one of the reason they got away with banning smoking is because scientist say that second hand smoke is worse then first hand.

1st hand smoke is worse then second for a simple reason and here is a example. Take 2 people, lock them in 2 rooms, sharing the same vents. now give one of htem a pack of smokes. the cigarette smoke will travel to both rooms! Yes, the other person gets second hand smoke. and so does the guy doing the smoke! therefore the guy smoking is getting second hand smoke ON TOP of getting hte first hand smoke.

Now i ain't no scientist, or specialist; but I would imagine getting BOTH kinds of smoke would be ALOT worse then just getting second hand smoke.

I second that as well it isnt just smoking its everything else and beleive me I could name alot of things. I love America but the country we live in now just isnt what it was meant to be, Our founding fathers would probably remove all the countries current leaders if they were here now, and yes Im taking into account that times due change (however there are rights that nomatter what time we live in should not change) my 2 cents again

thats another thing. are they ging to enforce the no smoking law? god knows they don't enforce the sodomy law. well unless it is against a minor then they do or if it is in rape. but 90% of the states all have sodomy as illegal along with Blow jobs, yet ifhtey was to enforce it you could litterly say goodbye to the porn industry cause every single one of them would be locked up.
