Now; the trick is, getting the abandon runway to our selves, and getting the B-52's signed out on a hand receipt. I'll need someone else to sign out the other one, as I don't think they will let me sign out both of them. Anyone know how to pilot an aircraft? Or do we just wing it?

I don't know a lot about the B-52s other than the fact that they are huge and that there is not another plane on the planet that can deliver as many different types of payload (bombs) as these things can.

I'm not a flyer I'm not a navigator either, because on a bad day, I have a hard time finding my way out of a paper bag. *lol*

Oh, yes, I am stationed at Barksdale, and live in Shreveport about 5 minutes away from the base.

Im stationed at naval air station (NAS) jacksonville, the most boring location in naval aviation lol. I dont know much about the B52 either, as its not navy. So you arent a nav or pilot?? a maintenance groundpounder then? or an office type job?

I'm a Food Service troop right now; though I do other things, that is my primary job; this is my third time through the kitchen, but this time I'm managing the kitchen instead of actually cooking anything

We have CS's (Culinary Specialists), which are said to cook and manage and such, but most naval bases have civilian contractors in the galleys, So we employ the CS's into managment positions such as, managing people in the first leuitenant and so forth. Im suprised to hear the air force of all branches has their MS/CS's actually in the food department.

Well the Air Force has to remain in the Kitchen to basically train year round to deploy and feed people everywhere; we have operations almost everywhere that we can't employ full service food contracts.

No we actually peel potatoes by hand, unless it's mashed potatoes, then we have the canned powder for that.
