That's not always true. My anxiety and moodswings are caused by a chemical response in the brain due to the anti-nuclear antibodies. Yet if I can focus enough to remember the physical reasons I'm feeling this way, I can manage it. I imagine faith would work the same way, mind over matter. Much like you can manage REAL pain through your thinking process. The trick is being able to focus, which is difficult through an anxiety-ridden fog.

Oh, don't hide behind your nationality. Faith and believe has nothing to do with that. It's a personal thing, not a racial thing.
